My last pair of Bose headphones. Seems their quality is not worth the price. I don't use them much at all and have a lot of issues. Great video though.

If there`s any living soul watching this and you cannot turn it on using this method, try this: 1) Put the cable into charger and into your phone 2) Wait until you see the green charging progress bar (not the gray battery) and wait for it to fill up to your current charge level 3) take the battery out and put it back in 4) Quickly remove charging cable

your video saved my 7 years old QC35. My power button acts up after 7 years and I used Acetone instead of rubbing alcohol and it worked like a charm. I was changing over the pad anyway so it was no problem for me to remove the ear cloth. Will see how it holds up and update you guys.

I had to do the factory reset in order to solve this problem and it worked, otherwise the customer care were asking me to replace my old headphones with new ones with some discount price, which I don't wanted to do it. I never expected that this problem exist in the bose

Great advice about the magnet , I for one would have definately got the screws sucked into those holes and probably would have damaged the headphones trying to remove them

Maybe you can put a sellotape on top of the hole temporary before you take the screws out.

I had the same issue. I had to remove the mesh in both ears, now fixed. I hope this doesn't cause issues in the long run though.
